A personal blog? Why?
Plenty of reasons, I figured.
As every professional software engineer would do, I googled “Why personal blog”. I didn’t read any of those 114M hits, though.

My *very* personal 5 reasons Ⓒ
I recently decided to create and maintain my own blog because…
- Hosting is cheaper than paper.
I’ve always been a fan of old-fashioned diaries, but I don’t like the idea of wasting paper in 2016. - I want to remember everything.
My thoughts, doubts, findings, experiences & anything worth keeping track of. And sharing. - Let’s make Big Data bigger.
I never took the “nowadays everyone is a content creator” concept too seriously. Contributing to big data is unexpectedly satisfying. - Everyone has something to share.
Education often happens when & where you don’t expect it. I might end up teaching you — or even myself — something valuable. - I want to master this language.
English is not my native language, as I’m originally Italian. Reading & writing a lot seems to be the best way to remove any language gap. Feedback is always welcome.
But how?
I also figured that a standard format would probably help. How do you structure an article? Do you even need structure at all?
Well, I like well-structured material, and I like the beautiful elegance of coherence and reuse.
{Concept1} & {Concept2}
I will always try to introduce and blend together two independent concepts that somehow collided, at some point in my life or professional experience.
Both as an example and as a concrete plan, here are the first two articles I will publish:
In the meanwhile, feel free to reach out on Twitter :)
